Day 01: Arrive Delhi.
Meet and greet upon arrival, with transfers to your hotel.

Day 02: Delhi to Srinagar.
After an early breakfast, transfer to the Airport to board flight for Srinagar.

Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley and spread on both sides of the river Jhelum. The Dal and Nagin lakes enhance its picturesque setting, while the changing play of the seasons and the salubrious climate ensures that the city is equally attractive to visitors around the year. Its waterways with own quaint lifestyle, the unique ‘Houseboat’, the blossoming gardens, water sports activities, shopping for lovingly handcrafted souvenirs and the nearby resorts make it a cherished place among those looking for a memorable holiday.

In the afternoon visit the famous Mughal Gardens – Chasmashahi, Nishad and Shalimar. These gardens were the ‘Mughal Emperors’ concept of paradise. Later you will be taken to a carpet weaving factory in the old part of Srinagar where artisans are in business of making carpets from generations. Pure silk Kashmiri carpets are well known for their softness, sheen and fine workmanship.

In the evening, you will be checked into a houseboat on Dal Lake. Overnight in a houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 03: Srinagar to Gulmarg and back.
This morning, proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg – the ‘Meadow of Flowers’ is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers, gigantic firs and pine trees.

A must is a fun-filled ride in the Gondola Lift. Later, return to Srinagar. In the evening experience a romantic ‘shikara ride’ on the Dal Lake. Overnight in houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 04: Srinagar to Jaipur via Delhi.
After a leisurely breakfast and an early lunch on the houseboat, you will proceed to visit the floating vegetable market on the lake and observe how locals go around conducting their livelihood.

Later, departure transfer to the Airport to board flight for Jaipur via Delhi. On arrival in Jaipur you will be checked into your pre-booked hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur
The city of Jaipur is surrounded by rugged hills, each crowned by a formidable fort, beautiful palaces, mansions and gardens dotted throughout its precincts.

This morning, proceed on a visit to Amber Fort, the ancient capital that has the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls (Elephant ride or jeep). En route enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal, the ‘Palace of winds’. Later, you will visit the City Palace and finally visit Jantar Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 06: Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (by surface)
Today, your journey continues to another historical and romantic city of Agra. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Fatehpur Sikri is regarded as Emperor Akbar’s crowning architectural legacy. Its numerous palaces, halls, and masjids (mosques) display his creative and aesthetic impulses, typical of Mughals.

On arrival at Agra visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Perhaps no other historical monument has evoked as much awareness and admiration from tourists and travellers alike, as the magnificent Taj Mahal – fondly called by people as the ultimate requiem of love, from a great Mughal Emperor to his beloved.

Continue the tour visiting the Agra Fort. Once the imperial city of successive Mughal dynasties, Agra Fort served as the center of government, the state treasury and the state mint. Within this sprawling complex are numerous palaces and beautiful mosques and pavilions, dating from the 1600s. Overnight in Agra.

Day 07: Agra to Delhi. Depart Delhi.
After an early breakfast proceed to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi enjoy a city tour. Visit Qutub Minar, Raj Ghat, drive past Jama Masjid, Red Fort, India Gate, the President’s House, Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings. If time permits, shop in the local market.

Later in the evening, transfer to the Airport to board your flight to onward destination.
